Spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons for photography, a celebration of the renewal of life is never more prominent, April being the month of rebirth, regrowth and revitalisation. Spring Landscapes are colourful and vibrant with the new spring growth contrasting against the blue sky.

I like to take advantage of the sunrise and sunsets now that the days are getting longer. The air is cleaner at sunrise giving a perfect opportunity to take some breath taking cloudscapes.

Vernorexia: a romantic mood inspired by Spring

I tend to look for abstract patterns when taking photographs of flowers and blossom. I admire this ancient apple tree every year as I visualise what this tree may have seen dating back to the 1700’s.
